BioRePeel works on two levels. It exfoliates the surface using TCA and a blend of other acids, and it delivers amino acids and vitamins into skin that has just been prepared to take them. Most people get the brightening effect of a peel without days of visible flaking. It is one of the stronger options among our facial treatments in Southport.

Why BioRePeel works

A peel removes damaged surface cells in a controlled way so the skin replaces them with fresher ones. BioRePeel does that, and its formula also carries amino acids and vitamins into the skin while it is receptive, which is why it is described as biostimulating rather than purely exfoliating. Results build across a course rather than arriving after one appointment, and they hold better when you use SPF daily. It suits tone, texture and congestion. It will not lift the face or replace lost volume.

What to Expect After Your Treatment

Leave makeup off for the rest of the day, keep everything gentle for 48 hours and avoid acids, retinoids, scrubs, saunas and sunbeds. Daily SPF matters more than usual after a peel. Full guidance is on our aftercare page.

Not carried out during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over active cold sores, broken skin or an untreated infection. If you use prescription skin medication or have had recent resurfacing, tell us at consultation and we may ask you to speak to your GP or prescriber first. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Will my skin actually peel?

Usually only lightly, if at all. Most people get tightness and a little dryness around days two and three rather than the sheeting people expect from older peels.

Does it sting?

There is tingling and warmth for the few minutes it is on, which most people find very manageable. We stay with you throughout and can stop at any point.

How long before an event should I have one?

Leave at least a week, and two weeks if it is your first, so we can see how your skin reacts before anything important.

Can it help with pigmentation?

It can help even out tone over a course, but pigment needs a plan that includes daily SPF and home care. We will be honest at consultation about what is realistic for your skin.

How is it different from dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning exfoliates physically with a blade and works on the surface. A peel works chemically and reaches a little deeper, which is why it needs a course.

Can I have it alongside injectables?

Yes, with spacing. We leave around two weeks either side of injectable treatments so the skin is settled before and after.
