Why a facial is worth having

A facial does two useful things. It gives your skin a deeper cleanse and exfoliation than you can manage at home, and it lets us get active ingredients into skin that has been properly prepared, so they work better than they would over a normal surface. What a facial will not do is replace a steady daily routine or change the structure of your face. Think of it as regular upkeep that keeps skin clear and comfortable, and as a way for us to watch how your skin behaves over time.

What to Expect After Your Treatment

Leave makeup off for the rest of the day if you can, keep the routine simple and use SPF the next morning. Avoid saunas, sunbeds, hot yoga and strong exfoliating acids for 24 hours. Full guidance is on our aftercare page.

Suitable for most adults over 18, including sensitive skin. We will not treat over active cold sores, broken skin or an untreated skin infection. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How is this different from a salon facial?

We start with a skin assessment, use medical-grade products and choose the steps for your skin rather than a set menu treatment, and we tell you honestly what it will and will not change.

Will a facial help with fine lines?

It softens the look of lines caused by dryness and dull surface skin, so the face looks fresher. It will not change lines that are set into the skin.

Can I have one before an event?

Yes. If your skin is breakout-prone, leave about a week in case extractions leave a little redness. For most people the same week is fine.

Do you do extractions?

Where they will genuinely help and the skin is ready for them. We do not force anything that is not ready to come out, as that causes more marking.

Can I have a facial if I have injectables?

Yes, and the two work well together. We leave around two weeks either side of injectable treatments so nothing is disturbed while it settles.

How often should I come?

Every four to six weeks suits most skin, which follows the natural renewal cycle. Some people come before events only, and that is fine too.
