Three boosters, compared

Profhilo, Sunekos and Seventy Hyal 2000 come up together whenever skin boosters are discussed. Here is what separates them, and what we use.

Same family, different jobs

These three names sit in the same category of injectable treatments that improve skin quality rather than adding volume, which is why they are compared so often. Two of them we use and one we do not. This page sets out the differences plainly, and you can see the full range on our skin boosters page.

Which Treatment Is Right For You?

Pure hyaluronic acid at high concentration, injected at a small number of set points so it spreads through the skin, hydrating deeply and improving firmness and glow across an area.
Two sessions four weeks apart, then around every six months

This is suitable for those looking for:

Hydration, glow and mild laxity across the face or neck
A hyaluronic acid skin booster distributed across the treatment area to hydrate the skin and support its own collagen, usually given as a short course.
Course of three, two to four weeks apart, then maintenance

This is suitable looking for:

Dull, dehydrated skin and early fine lines

Where each one sits, Sunekos included

Profhilo and Seventy Hyal 2000 are both hyaluronic acid, but they behave differently. Profhilo goes into a small number of points and spreads, which suits treating a whole area for firmness and glow. Seventy Hyal is distributed more evenly and is often run as a hydration course. Sunekos is the odd one out, pairing a smaller amount of hyaluronic acid with amino acids, and it is more often chosen for thin skin around the eyes. We offer Profhilo and Seventy Hyal 2000. We do not offer Sunekos.

Which is right for you

If the lower face or neck feels a little slack and dull, Profhilo is usually the starting point. If the skin is mainly dehydrated and flat, a Seventy Hyal course is often the more sensible choice. If your concern is fine, crepey skin around the eyes, we would look at Lumi Eyes or polynucleotides rather than any of the three. And if you have decided on Sunekos specifically, you will need a clinic that stocks it, which is not us.

Can you combine them?

Not all at once. Stacking boosters into one visit does not make the result better, it just makes it impossible to tell what worked. We would run one course, review it, then add polynucleotides or microneedling later if the skin still needs something.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

No. For skin quality we use Profhilo, Seventy Hyal 2000, Jalupro and Lumi Eyes, plus polynucleotides. If Sunekos is what you want specifically, you would need a clinic that stocks it.
There is no single best one. They suit different skin and different concerns, and the honest answer depends on what your skin is short of. That is what the assessment is for.
Yes. It is common to run one course, see how the skin responds and choose differently next time. Having one does not rule out another later.
No. Boosters work on skin quality, while anti-wrinkle injections soften lines caused by muscle movement. They do different jobs and often sit in the same plan.
Most people notice hydration and glow within the first two to three weeks, with firmness developing more slowly over a couple of months. It is gradual rather than sudden.
